Went out late Saturday night. The rains finally stopped. The SAG Awards were tonight. I checked the clubs, which were empty, then hit the Sunset Strip, in search of an exclusive. Nothing at the Roxy, Whiskey Ago-go, nothing, Key Club, nothing. Finally, at the end of the strip, where West Hollywood ends, and Beverly Hills begins, across the street from the old location of hot 90’s club, BAR ONE, at new restaurant, BOA. Something was going on. There were a few paparazzi scurrying around back, as the club manager was setting up a pickup in front. After all the brou haha, it was only JESSICA SIMPSON and Ken Pave, hairstylist to some stars. I didn’t even get out of the old red pickup truck. I shot it from my window, then U-turned and drove on down the block to CHATEAU MARMONT, where KIRSTEN DUNST was drawing a paparazzi swarm, as she climbed the hill behind the old ROXBURY, to fetch her car. I finally got a live celebrity too smile at CHATEAU MARMONT, where I found handsome Australian Chef CURTIS STONE waiting for his date, who was signing autographs for fans. I forgot to ask who she was. If anyone recognizes her, let me know, please. DIANE KRUGER was there but would not pose. Lo Bosworth was there but hid in a taxi, as she left. Went home.
Sunday night, as the second half of the SAINTS and VIKINGS game was just starting, STEVE called to tell me that he thought BRAD PITT might show up for the MOTORHEAD FOR HAITI CONCERT at THE MUSIC BOX. SO I left the best game of the decade to go in search of BRAD PITT. Well, I did get FAMKE JANNSEN, “YOUNGBLOOD” couple ANNA PAQUIN and STEPHEN MOYER, then STEVE spotted DANIEL CRAIG and his date crossing HOLLYWOOD BLVD. We were right on top of the action and goy great footage of 007 maneuvering through the crowd, hand in hand with his beautiful lady. Got “HAROLD AND KUMAR” star KAL PENN as he chatted with friends. That was about it for my weekend.
