Ameican Idol Runner-Up, Adam Lambert is in town to do some press. Today Adam performed at the CBS Early Show and sat for an interview. Adam signed autographs and happily greeted his fans. This show was taped for Thursday mornings show, so you can catch it first on POPTV.com
After getting the 2nd place finisher I went to get some video of Idol Champ, Kris Allen. Kris was doing interviews at the Associated Press Building and at Fox Studio. He will be around a few more days and I hope to get more.

The Queen and her court arrived in NY this morning at GMA.
Olympic Gold Medalist, Shawn Johnson can now add ” Dancing With The Stars ” Champion to her resume’.
Shawn and partner Mark Ballas along with runersup, Gilles Marini and partner Cheryl Burke, and third place finisher, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolanidanced in Times Square. I shot great video of the dancers as they showed their skills in the heart of Broadway, NYC.
Shawn showed off her glittering award as she signed autographs and posed with fans. Gilles and Melissa also acting like the champions they are by posing for pictures, signing autographs and leading a NYC dance group in an impromptu dance number.
Later at their hotel Shawn and Mark once again stopped to sign and gave us some great video!!!
Gilles leaves hotel in a taxi, followed 10 minutes later by Cheryl in another cab.
Went down to Rhiannas hotel hoping to catch up with the beauty, but after 2 hours I gave up.
Although her tv series ” Medium ” was cancelled by NBC this week, actress Patricia Arquette got a reprieve when CBS added the show to its fall schedule.
Patricia signed a few autographs as she entered Carnegie Hall for the Network Upfront presentation.
Ashley Simpson- Wentz is in town for the CW Network Upfront being held later this week. We got a brief glimpse as she darted from her SUV into her midtown hotel. I hope your new series ” Melrose Place ” lasts as long as your sidewalk run.

David Hasselhoff was with his two Daughters at the ‘American Idol’ After Party. The Hoff had one girl on each arm and while walking to their car one of his daughters slipped a little, but the quick ‘Hoff’ caught her. They then jumped in the car, said good night and took off.

American Idol winner Kris Allen and Runner up Adam Lambert were both at the season finale after party which took place on the world famous Sunset Strip. The finale was intense and put two very talented and different men up against each other, and in the end Kris won it all. Adam, although runner up is also has a great career ahead of him.
The Party was packed with Idol alumni, including Carrie Underwood and last years winner David Cook. There were also many Celebrities there, including David Hasselhoff who was there with his two daughters.
