Yesterday was a waste, Britney Spears is in town and the pop star had police escorts, umbrellas covering her, and more security than heads of state. I got good video of police misconduct and Britney who is in NYC to promote her album acting like a diva.
At the Today Show this morning Heidi Klum the Uber-Model was playing Santa’s Gorgeous Helper, giving out gifts. A couple hours later she was at the opening of a brand new Victoria’s Secret Shop on the east side of town. Heidi was joined by fellow beauties, Marisa Miller, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes a 23 year old Dutch beauty and Brazilian supermodel, Alessandra Ambrosio. Although I was not given a spot on the red carpet i was able to video the girls as they left the shop.

Britney Spears and her mom went to the nail salon while LAPD officers and an LAPD helicopter provided protection for the poptstar at taxpayers expense!
Why should Britney get extra protection just because she is famous? Why should taxpayers have to pay for the LAPD to protect Britney Spears?

Britney Spears Arrives in Los Angeles at LAX airport, to the paparazzi swarm that has missed her so much while she was in New York. Britney emerges, hiding under a shawl, her father Jamie is with her, as well as several bodyguards and airport security. It is an all out mob scene as Britney heads straight for her waiting SUV.
Larry caught up with Britney as she was leaving New York at JFK airport, and it was a much more subdued scene as Britney strolled through the airport, wearing the same shawl but not worrying about covering her head. She even smiled as she passed through a security checkpoint!

I went out to JFK Airport to get Britney as she left NYC.
When Britney arrived her security, some police and TSA Officials and a host of others were there to greet her.
As she exited the SUV the team swarmed to her side [ her dad was with her ] head of security took her hand [ in case she no longer could walk on her own ] and led her to the security checkpoint.
It is good video, with the usual mob of paparazzi on hand.

I went out to JFK Airport to get Britney as she left NYC.
While waiting for Britney a couple of other musicians past my way.
First one of the hottest rappers, Lupe Fiasco came by. Lupe had to use his credit card to get a cart to carry his own baggage. Lupe released his latest album in 2007 and is working on a new one now.
Next to arrive was legendary, New Orleans rocker, Dr. John. The Dr. was walking slow with his trademark cane. I wanted to walk more with him but I didn’t want to miss Britney.

I have been working all week on bringing you the Britney Spears travels.
Britney’s security team is pretty intent on not allowing her to be photographed if at all possible. One whole day of garage after garage.
I got a few seconds of Brit as she attempted to exit her SUV on Prince street in SoHo. Startled by the paps screaming she made a beeline back to her truck and hotel.

This morning Britney and her team headed to J.H.S 142 in the Bronx,N.Y. Britney was making a donation to the schools music department. As she was leaving she stopped to sign autographs and pose with the kids.
A few of the more then 20 police officers also took photos with. They also took time to give her and her Private Security Team an escort to the highway.
If Britney is able to hire her own team, why must Our Police provide additional security. Surely they have better, more important things to do. This area of the Bronx is a high crime rate area, let the police, Police!!

I have been working all week on bringing you the Britney Spears travels.
Britney’s security team is pretty intent on not allowing her to be photographed if at all possible. One whole day of garage after garage.
I got a few seconds of Brit as she attempted to exit her SUV on Prince street in SoHo. Startled by the paps screaming she made a beeline back to her truck and hotel. (See the Clip Here)

Late last night I passed by the theater and shot some video of Katie Holmes as she signed for fans. Katie is performing on Broadway in ” All My Sons “.
