The weekend was wet and busy, with Fashion Week rolling along, and the MTV, Video Music Awards.
With the rain falling I went over to the London Hotel to get some cover and some celebrities. Funkadelic legend Bootsie Collins was checking out.

Over at the tents at Bryant Park guests started to arrive for Charlotte Ronson’s show Brother DJ, Mark Ronson, with dad Former Foreigner Rocker Mick Jones Nicky Hilton, 90210 actress, Jessica Stroup braved the rain in a very short dress and no jacket, Shannon Elizabeth asking us to wait till she gets some makeup on,
Once again beautiful singer Keri Hilsonlights up the tents, Angela and Vanessa Simmons look very beautiful. The girls are the daughters of the Rev. Run of RunDMC. Solange Knowles with her very sophisticated looking young son.

Sunday night I hit the party scene to see who was celebrating.
Went to very trendy Waverly Inn and caught up with a very subdues looking Jennifer Espositoas she left with a friend. Kim Kardashian looking great but unwilling to stop for even a minute. Shakira in a sparkling one of a kind designer dress that somehow was also worn by Pink on the red carpet earlier that night. Jennifer Lopez and Husband Marc Anthony arrive and the paps finally get excited. Raggaeton star Pit Bull arrives and lays it down to Kanye West.

Over at two more party spots were plenty of stars.
At Lady Gaga’s party at Avenue Akon and Keri Hilson hit the tiny red carpet area. Diddy leaving party at 1 Oak around the corner causes some crazy moments Deal Or No Deal Star, Claudia Jordancalls Kanye to chastise him for his actions. Michelle Trachtenberg hides in a taxi Whitney Port and friends also catch a cab out of the parties. Justin Timberlake tries to duck in but I catch him. A very rare moment as Jessica Alba is laughing. I don’t know the cause but it could be the insane behavior of her bodyguard.

It is very late and the party and me are fading fast.
Monday morning, somehow I am awake and as I walk to work I catch U.S.Open Champion, Kim Clijsters posing with her trophy in Times Square. Kim who was off the tour for 2 years while giving birth and being a mom looked great.
Over at the Tents for the Jill Stuart Show the stars were being driven into the garage. As Amanda Bynes was ready to walk in, the handlers pushed her back in her car.

JOANNA KRUPA and DEREK HOUGH - The gorgeous supermodel, Joanna is Derek’s new partner on the upcoming “Dancing with the Stars,” and he kissed her a good night. Joanna stopped to chat and addressed many issues about being on “DWTS,” including the challenges, her stiffest competition, what she is most looking forward to, what she likes about having Derek as a partner, etc. She is a breath of fresh air and as nice as can be. Derek left solo and I told him he is usually with a hot lady. Regardless, the talented guy always has a blast.

JAMES VAN DER BEEK - The cool actor was in a great mood and joked around. He had a fantastic night out on the town and hopped into the back of a convertible. Today was Day 1 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. BCBG was the early 10 A.M. show and a surprising number of celebrities showed up. Mallika Sherawat one of India’s biggest and most glamorous movie stars was dressed in a BCBG tight black mini. The Bollywood star was lovely and posed happily for photogs and with some fans. Amanda Bynes also in black, with oversized sunglasses came to the show.
Disney star, Tiffany Thornton of “Sunny With A Chance” wore a color I can’t describe, but it was youthful and perfect for the young actress. Tiffany took time with her fans and with all the photogs on hand.
Another beautiful young star, singer Amerie also strolled the long walkway to the tents for the fashion show. Solange Knowles, with a very short haircut looked terrific, also in black as she was rushed along by her handlers.
Hot Atlanta based singer, Keri Hilson attended the show. As she was leaving she stopped for photos, interviews and fans. Keri’s album “In A Perfect World” which features Kanye West is a huge hit.
Rock and Roll’s Royal Children include Theodora and Alexandra Richards. The daughters of Rolling Stones Guitarist, Keith Richards are a big part of NYC fashion scene. The girls mom Patti Hanson was a supermodel in her day. The sisters happily posed for me as they left the show.
Another beautiful face belonged to actress Lynn Collins. Lynn appeared as Hugh Jackman’s girlfriend in Wolverine. Lynn also had a significant roll in last season’s HBO Series “True Blood”
A great showing for the MaxAzria BCBG Show. Whitney Port hurried through the park to the tents, but I couldn’t move quick enough to get more than a glimpse.
Hours passed without another celebrity so I headed downtown to the L.A.M.B. show. The line was created by Gwen Stefani. Gwen and her husband singer, Gavin Rossdale also had their 2 beautiful sons Kingston and baby Zuma with them to celebrate the new seasons fashion show. I got some great footage of the family.

“BESO”————— A party was held at the restaurant.
MACKENZIE PHILLIPS - I asked the “One Day at a time” star if she stays in touch with Valerie Bertinelli. She said she sure does. I enquired how she stays so beautiful. Mackenzie: “Magic.”
JULIETTE LEWIS - Juliette wore a fur and said it was not ostrich. I asked her if she prefers acting or singing. Juliette: “Why can’t I have all of it?” She asked me if I am from Germany. When I replied that I am from South Africa, she said she hasn’t been there yet. I recommended a trip. The talented lady said she just made a movie with Orlando Bloom. Juliette: “I’m gonna scare you!”

TIMOTHY HUTTON - The Oscar winning actor for “Ordinary People,” signed tons of autographs for the autograph dealers. He is just never around.
POPPY MONTGOMERY - The lovely Aussie redhead also signed numerous autographs and took photo-ops with the dealers. I asked the actress how life is in Australia. Poppy: “I haven’t been there for years.”

LINDSAY LOHAN and SAMANTHA RONSON - Leave it to Lindsay and Samantha to close down the lounge at 2:45 am. Thanks a lot, ladies! They exited out the side of Villa and hopped into the Porsche. Lindsay gave me a nice smile and then chatted with her girlfriend and on her cell phone. Then she started laughing. She was certainly in a good mood. The two have been dating for a pretty long time now. Looks like things are going well.

Charlie Sheen is our friend. “King of the Paparazzi” E.L. Woody has known Charlie since he was 14, and we have a unique relationship with the star of 2 and a Half Men, we even had a Home Run Derby with him! We have been filming Charlie on the streets of Hollywood for many years and he is one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. We have a unique relationship with many stars. We were the first video paparzzi and we have always been good to the stars, and have built relationships with them over the years, helping their careers along the way. Our library of clips is unique. The SHIA LaBEOUF wreck was one of the biggest stories of 2008. BRIAN PERRULLI, who arrived at the SHIA LaBEOUF crash location, shortly after the accident happened, gave Poptv.com’s KINGPAPARAZZI, E.L.WOODY, an exclusive guided tour of the scene, and talks about what he saw Sunday morning at 2:30 A.M.
The exclusive stills and video were shot by E.L. Woody at the scene.
SHIA’S “TRANSFORMERS” co-star, ISABEL LUCAS, was his passenger in the pickup that he was driving. PERRULLI speaks of the comments made by SHIA and the other driver in the accident.

WE CAUGHT UP WITH BILLY BOB THORNTON AS HE SIGNED AUTOGRAPHS FOR FANS AND SMOKED ON A CIGARETTE AT THE SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL. BILLY BOB WAS WEARING BLACK LEATHER AND A NECKLACE WITH A SKULL ON IT.
