LARRY HOLZER Reports From NYC 03/26/09
The day started with Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman going to get some breakfast at the 11th street cafe. A large group of paps showed up and Mr. Jackman took it all in his good natured way. He is a really cool dude.
On to the set of the Jerry Bruckheimer produced “Sorcerer’s Apprentice ” I have a few scenes that were shot in the NYC Subways.
Director, John Turteltaub [ National Treasures 1&2 ] was on set with actors Jay Baruchel, who plays Dave [ the sorcerer's real apprentice ] and Australian beauty, Teresa Palmer, who plays Becky [ Daves girlfriend ].
Later in the day Jerry Bruckheimer showed up on set and I got a little video of the prolific super producer.
The Sorcerer finally arrives !! Nicholas Cage [ Balthazar Blake ] long crazy hair looks wizardly. The scene is down on the subway platform and after shooting for a little while the police made us leave. No photography a matter of national security!! I got some interesting footage of the film, so enjoy and I will be back

LARRY HOLZER REPORTS FROM NYC
Oscar host Hugh Jackman loves spending quality time with son
oscar. The pair went for a morning walk up to the 11th st. Cafe for a
bite to eat. They then caught a cab just like regular New Yorkers. As
usual Mr Jackman wished us a G’Day.
Back to the set of ” The Extra Man “ where I got some really nice
footage of my favorite actress, Katie Holmes. Watch the paparazzi
madness and see how calm and beautiful Katie is. This is a low budget
film and Katie is doing her best to get some publicity for the film.
The 30 paparazzi who video and shoot the actress are sure to bring lots
of free press to the film. Katie instead of driving to and from set
walks the gauntlet and allows us access. Just want to say Thank You,
Katie.
Sarah Jessica Parker will soon be filming in NYC and I went down
to her street to get some video. Today the family nanny took young
James to school. I did get some footage of SJP moments later as she got
into a waiting Prius and took off.
I caught Rock Legend, Lou Reed as we were driving along as he
talked on his cell. Lou was resplendant in his camouflage jacket.

Exclusive video of SEX IN THE CITY star Sarah Jessica Parker and long haired son James, as they walked to school on this beautiful warm winter day. Sarah seems to give him a pep talk as they start out.
More Exclusive video as Hugh Jackmans’ young son,Oscar takes off on his scooter while clutching his Teddy Bear. A few moments later Hugh, wife Deborra-Lee, daughter Ava walk and scooter ride to 11th street cafe. At the restaurant another video camera joins in as the family enjoys breakfast with a couple of friends.
As they leave mom scoops Ava up for a shoulder ride to daycare. Mom walks home as Hugh jumps in SUV to go to his Oscar rehearsal.
10 AM and I have walked too many miles in pursuit of great video.
Pink and a girlfriend are leaving a Tribeca restaurant when I pick up their trail and embark on another long journey. A small group of paps scurry around to get the best shots. Fun walk with a smiling and happy couple of girls!!!
At David Letterman Show newly crowned Sports Illustrated Cover Girl, Bar Rafaeli signed autographs and posed. Bar wore jeans and heels on the way in and a beautiful tight blue dress as she left.
The exact opposite was the arrival and departure of actor turning rapper, Joaquin Phoenix. Hiding behind a great bushy beard he walked quickly into the studio. Casey Affleck is behind the camera as he is shooting a documentary of the unappreciative Phoenix. Too bad he wasn’t able to spend more time with his brother, River. He was kind and happy to talk and pose with his fans and always signed autographs.

A few moments later Hugh, wife Deborra-Lee, daughter Ava walk and scooter ride to 11th street cafe. At the restaurant another video camera joins in as the family enjoys breakfast with a couple of friends. As they leave mom scoops Ava up for a shoulder ride to daycare. Mom walks home as Hugh jumps in SUV to go to his Oscar rehearsal.
