L521 LARRY HOLZER Reports From NYC 10/03/09
  • Started out on Monday and followed Hugh Jackman and his family to Easton Connecticut . The 2 hour ride brought us to Silverman’s Farm to pick some pumpkins and apples. With a brief stop at a gas station, where Jackman’s appearance caused a bit of excitement, we had a good journey.
Hugh and Deboraa along with Oscar and Eva were a happy family. This is really fun footage!
  • Finally back in the city I headed to the David Letterman Show. The guests today were Reality TV star, Brody Jenner and Desperate Housewives’ Felicity Huffman.
  • Tuesday Started at the “Gossip Girl” set. Hilary Duff, Penn Badgley and Jessica Szohr took a stroll. After a lunch break Taylor Momsen and her new gang of mean girls walked and talked.
  • Wyclef Jean ate alone at Vento.
  • Mariah Carey arrives at Macy’s to unveil her new perfume and as the crowd grew I barely saw her arrive.
  • Wednesday I am at the set of Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. Shia Labeouf, and actress Carey Mulligan and the iconic Director, Oliver Stone.
  • David Letterman was hosting 10 of the N.Y.Rangers including stars Sean Avery and Henrik Lundquist.
  • New Orleans crooner, Harry Connick Jr. arrives but we are all waiting for MADONNA! Madonna walks quickly to the stage door, gives a small wave and I wait for her to leave. About the same only in reverse.

His young actress friend, Taylor Momsen all in black with red,red lipstick. catch Taylor on tour with her rock band this summer. [ she is turning 16 this July]
Blake Lively in a Blue Lowcut Shorts look.
Leighton Meester, blonder then we have seen her in NYC.
Penn Badgley looking like Blake had to remind him they were going out. And newly shaved Chace Crawford were all there.

Fashion Week NYC LARRY REPORTS

LARRY REPORTS on FASHION WEEK from NEW YORK CITY:

I went over to Bryant Park to start my day of fashion watching.

First up was the Carolina Herrera Show, Renee Zellweger wearing a gorgeous Herrera Dress took a long walk back to her car and was mobbed by the photogs and fans. Of course security was a little overzelous.
Ivana Trump left the show and seemed lost, but she posed and made sure we got our footage.
Super Brit Model, Agyness Deyn tried to sneak out but I caught up with her.

Peter Som was the next show and injured Tennis Great and Model, Maria Sharapova was there. Maria is not a very friendly girl as she signs no autographs and stops for no photos. She is good looking though and gets away with this boorish behavior. I got her again later in the afternoon, in a new outfit.
A couple of beautiful actresses also attended the show and if you don’t recognize their names you soon will. Elizabeth Banks is in a new Kevin Smith film “Zack&Miri Make a Porno” The film stars red hot comedy star, Seth Rogen. Also starring as Bubbles is former Teen PornStar, Traci Lords!!!
Zoe Saldana looked great in a very dangerous and wide open dress. Zoe has 2 Sci-Fi Thrillers on tap. She plays the great Nyota Uhura in the New Star Trek Film. She also is starring in the upcoming James Cameron flick, Avatar. Another hot young actress whom I shot at Fashion Rocks, Kate Mara was there. Kate slipped by but I got some footage as she sat in her car.
Old time Brazilian Supermodel, Louiza Brunet was elegant in a white Carolina Herrera Pantsuit.
Jill Stuart Show was next and this was a tricky one, as it had 3 different entrances. I tried my best and was able to get Lipstick Jungle Star, Lindsay Price in a great blue dress. This is important because 2 hours later I got her in a great black dress as she attended the LucaLuca Show.
Back at Jill Stuart was stylist Rachel Zoe, Howard Stern’s beautiful wife, Beth Ostrosky. Catch the supersized ring she is wearing.
Gossip Girl beauty, Jessica Szohr was out at the shows again today. Jessica looks very cool and makes sure to put on her hat for the video!!!
Tsunami survivor and supermodel, Petra Nemkova has either been eating alot or she is pregnant. I caught her leaving the Bryant Park Hotel and heading to LucaLuca.
Two more hot young actresses were going to the Luca Show:
Emmanuelle Chriqui who has been a semi regular on Entourage playing Sloan, E’s on and off girlfriend looked great and took pictures with some fans.
Malin Akerman in a very tight light blue dress signed and posed.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson Cause a FASHION FRENZY!!

LARRY REPORTS FROM FASHION WEEK IN NEW YORK CITY

“Today was Family day at fashion Week.

At the Charlotte Ronson Show, Emma Roberts, niece of Julia and daughter of Eric was sporting a grown up look while walking on 5 inch heels. Emma happily posed and corrected the photographer who asked her to pose with her “mom”

Samantha Ronson twin sister of Charlotte brought her Girlfriend to the show. This caused some very fun Chaos. Samantha was hand in hand with Lindsay Lohan as they took the long walk to the tents surrounded by photogs and security. To ease the pressure why not stop for 30 seconds and give up the shot? On the way out it was crazier as they tried to sneak but had to wait 10 minutes for their driver to figure out where they went !!!

Charlotte and Samanthas’ big brother superproducer Mark left with his almost 19 year old sweetie Daisy Lowe. Daisy an up and coming model in her native London is the lovechild of Gavin Rossdale. Gavin is the Hubby of Gwen Stefani. See how this was family day.

There were models all over but the very hot Chanel Iman stole the show as she walked through the park. With all the talk in NYC about the lack of Models of Color, Chanel should have the pick of shows to walk.

Also at the show was the beautiful Jessica Szohr who plays Vanessa on Gossip Girl.

Tropical Storm Hanna is coming and I am out of here.”
